Fun fact, being a rocket jumper in the other TF2 helps a blot/b with this, as you basically need strafing like this to rocket jump effectively

Oh Man! This wall running shit is PISSING ME OFF! I've only just begun playing Titanfall 2 a few hours ago but I can't seem to get the wall running part down I keep FALLING short and starting again all over only to fail AGAIN! I will keep trying but this game mechanic seems stupid to me, (especially since I SUCK at it!) Anyone have any tips or pointers?

Whoever thought up the running around 3 semi circular wall panels to span a chasm with cranes in the campaign needs a swift kick in the ass It's very frustrating trying to maintain speed and grip When it takes this many tries it is no longer a challenge or entertaining Its just stupid Other sections were just gimme easy and this is stupid difficult Balance, Balance Balance

does this work the same as air strafing in other source games? when you turn corners while slide jumping, do you have to air strafe, while letting go forward?

When I first saw the video I was a bit confused because some of the things you said didn't match what was playing on the video currently The "moving the sticks in the same direction (with right stick moving slower)" and "practicing on Eden" are the parts I'm talking about The reason it was confusing was because the game wasn't out yet so I didn't know what map Eden was, or how to air strafebrbrOther than that, this was a great video Thanks!

I really would love for your "how to:" videos to display a keyboard overlay which highlights what buttons you press at what time, as i think specially for beginners getting a feel for the timings is the hardest partbrbrotherwise - great stuff, i could watch you zip across the map all day :D

If I already mastered all movement methods (pro level) you taught (wallruns, slides and double jumps) does that mean I am a pro player? I learned all of these methods in Titanfall 1 (except for sliding, I learned that on the tech test) Hope we can play in TFall2 Want to play some titanfall 1 together some day soon? Air strafing was by far the most useful tactic in TF1 wall running For anyone not really all that skilled in wallrunning in general, and you're looking to up your skills to near frothy level before you're able to get your hands on tf2, my bf took me and many many other pilots under his wing to help their overall titanfall skills While teaching wall running, he took everyone in the map rise Simply wallrunning all the way around the entire room with the 2 tunnels, without touching the ground, was by far the simplest way to learn Whilst using this technique is rarely used in game play, the overall point is to learn the strafe , learning to run on a lengthy wall, perform a jump, and get back on that same wall for a new lengthy wall run without ever touching or falling to the ground There is a 90 degree wall to practice that curve as well The strafe is useful when jumping across the tunnel, on the tiny stretch of wall in between the tunnel, and back on the wall on the other side of the second tunnel This map will help you learn control of your wall run, while forcing you to be quick with your chaining as you gain speed He recommends taking the path around the room so the tunnels are on your RIGHT when you approach them Maybe it's just him, but he seems to think it's a simpler smoother path to take brSorry frothy Didn't mean to step on your teaching toes :)
