As someone currently in high school, I’m glad I learned that what I want is more important than conforming to a mean - While sometimes a dream won’t pay a bill, it takes a person who really wants it to make it pay a bill as I say “Conformity is overrated - find a way to make your own life”

It is impossible to "leave the world better than you found it" because with more people needing more energy to live healthy lives, the drain on the Mother's resources are under strain I would argue that you don't need to leave the world "better" but don't make the world worse than you found it

I've found the older I get the happier I am to stay in my comfort zone I no longer wish to expand my horizons, I no longer speak up on anything, I keep my opinions to myself, I turn down promotions, I've quite quitted at workand guess what I've never been happier Now if I fear something (eg flying and having injections) I turn about face and go in the opposite directionI should have done this years ago

I loved this Ted talk so much and I am not being on watching Ted talks but I really do enjoy the speech’s from beautiful black Queens they are very inspiring and motivating and I loved her speech because I love how she explain that being comfortable is non existent and that we need to get out of our comfort zone and into being uncomfortable and that is something I am still working on but it’s also helps us to not be scared to face reality head on
