I don’t understand why they had to drop anything on the series s tho it has the same hardware as the Xbox series X the console was just made for 1440P … the X needed the extra power to power through 4K resolution…

How is this logical? Xbox One X has a higher resolution than Xbox Series S and PS5, yet this is the only console that "doesn't look pretty" while hitting nearly 4K Though the next gen Xbox Series S drops to 900P which is pathetic and is very last gen resolution with lower graphical options, but that console looks really good How does 900P look better than a console that is doing double the resolution? brbrThere is clear biases or just smart guys being dumb and blind on purpose?

Playing on XSX and they improved the frame rate greatly from this demo It holds to 60fps most of the time now and very rarely drops to like 55ish It runs really good now

The retail version of Outriders still suffers from framedrops and stutter on SX with the 10GB day one update installed Not as bad as in the demo, but it's noticableThe intro now has screen-tearing (as long as it stays there, I'm fine with it😅) HDR looks still dim and I haven't noticed any other graphical changes or improvements It's nice to have this game in gamepass nonetheless

People fail to realize the resolution is more important in xboxs case because it has vrr, if it didnt have vrr id agree that fps is dips are more important but in this case dips are actually much worse on ps5 because there is no vrr

My friends and I played the demo together on PC, so obviously it's a different experience - but, with framerates so close to the target 60 on consoles, and gameplay that looks pretty much finished, I have high hopes that the final console versions will hit the target after the final optimization pass

What the hell is up with the thick fog or over the top haze in the PS5 version? I have both series x and ps5, and for some reason no one is talking about it or asking the devs Graphically they look identical, I have a 82” Q8FN stood up close or sat back and couldn’t tell a difference other than that weird haze Or over the top volumetric fog Also, the lighting is oddly different when looking at how shadows cast behind the character for example, you see more light on the characters back than on ps5 It looks more realistic on the 5 Another thing people aren’t talking about, and likely since most don’t have both consoles to notice

I have this demo on both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X For some reason the Xbox just has better HDR lighting in this game Both consoles are calibrated using their calibration tool on the same LG CX Oled but the Xbox cleary looks better in the lighting department The sky on the PS5 just isn't as bright and the picture is darker overall Its kind of annoying as I planned on getting this on PS5 but now i'm reconsidering because I can also see a slight sharpness improvement on the Xbox as well

The super powers are interesting (remains to see if they hold up for the entire game) and the premise is interesting But the gameplay feels a lot cheaper and less refined than gears (felt like controller just mapped to WASD and getting in and out of cover was often finicky etc) So do the graphics and animation quality It looks like a middling early last-gen game that got updated textures and runs at higher resolution than it was arted for

No John! 30fps cap is never a good thing! Just because you prefer that choppy unresponsive gameplay over little variation in fps is not a good thing! How can you tell a 4fps difference in gamming from 56 to 60fps every few seconds or so? I guess if you can tell, your frame catcher eyes are better than mine I go with resolution fidelity over a couple of frames every time Now 30 to 60 would be a big deal and change the story, but 4frame difference when the resolution is better People really complain about this?
