Another reason that HiveOS is terrible for mining is it will go dead when the rig is too hot or overclock setting is too high In this case the watchdog usually does not work to restart the rig or miner That’s terrible because the great reputation of Linux’s is totally compromised by HiveOS, while in Windows it will got a blue screen and restart automatically so that mining can start after that Comment from : Justin Kong |

if the memory is overheating, i suggest decrease the mhz from de memory not from the core HIVEOS is MUCH better and stable than windows, the only downside of it is the cost (MUCH lower than pay for a full license of windows if you pay for that of course ) Comment from : IgorTFerreira |
