Yeah you should put some solar panels if you get enough sun on that roof Comment from : Super Tesla |

Brandon I just finished splitting my garage for a mining room, the question was how I was going to cool it I was considering a mini-split or ac etc, however, the wattage burned (cost of running them) outweighs the benefits In my home office with a 8000 btu AC with 4, 6 card mining rigs the ac could not keep the heat down, the room was still hovering at 25-40 degrees depending on temp outside So i came up with a new idea for the garage, the room being 8x16 I used a commercial HRV I removed all filters so it created a suction instead of exchanging the air like it was designed to do, aimed the 2 vents on one side of the hrv through the wall to the outside I installed it as high as i could on the wall because heat rises, turned it on and it created such a suction that I couldn't open the doors, there was just way to much of a suction lol So on the other side of the room I used a simple vent for attics installed in the wall to allow for a steady stream of air straight across the room My theory was that its not about combating the heat from the mining rigs with cold air, its more of removing the hot air/heat from the room that the rigs create My theory was correct, burning only 100-150 watts on my hrv im able to instantly haul the heat out of the room Maybe its something you can consider over a mini-split, remove the heat instead of fighting it Comment from : Daniel Penney |

start moonshining underground ^^ Comment from : Tomas Berglund |

no mining operations of significant size use AC few video's ago "solar isn't worth it, especially for me", this video "thinking about putting up solar panels I would collect like 75 of the sun" LOL I installed a 1500$ mini solar system, about 1kw, shortly after that video you made about solar rounding the corner on 100$ saved Comment from : Anonymous Miner |

Hey man, new viewer I've worked with paint for 5 years now, all I'd suggest is to etch your concreate before painting it That's what the reviews with peeling will be from, it'll still last a good while, rustoleums good stuff Comment from : Xgabe Howard |

Looking good mate and so is the garage😎 Comment from : Hulk |
whatever you do, spray foam the walls and ceiling next! aside from the gaps between the steel framing and concrete, your A/C will pull in hot air from any crack it can find, so seal it up while you can easily, the doors will be the hardest to deal with since they face the day's sun Comment from : Austin H |
Aren't you afraid your cards will get stolen? That sheet seems to be so easy to cut Not to mention the surrounding forest (easy hiding/access by thieves) Comment from : Caramida |

Yeah, you should definitely look into putting some solar up there Also, a small wind turbine if you get any wind in that area Comment from : Jon Ray |
You should consider the vinyl flooring in the office area I did that in my basement and can walk bare footed down there Not only is the floor not cold, but it is easier on your feet Check out the ac Infiniti fans if you need air, I bought the 8 inch and it uses low power for lots of flow Don't believe the quiet part tho 😅 Comment from : TechManTY |
Can I pleas have a picture of your bathroom? I`m normal in my head , Greetings from Psychiatric mental hospital :) Comment from : Stigi38 |

Oh man that floor looks awesome for only 50$ of material!!!! Can't wait to see the final result! Are you gonna put some led strips? :D also did you use silicone to seal the walls and floor? If not I think its a cheap measure against water :) Comment from : Leon Vukšić |

Well, I don't know how good that it''s going to be Noise for one thing, you won't be able to do videos or talk on the phone Besides, having office walls will give you space to put a TV-Monitor on,, Wall map? Shelves? Just my thoughts And, if you make the office, you can store something on top of the office (equipment, supplies) I'd do the office It's looking great! Howard Comment from : Howard Andrus |
The better the rate you get, the longer the solar will take to pay off Also, if you want to do solar, you are going to need to fire that excavator up and get rid of a lot more trees Remember, the sun rise and fall angles change by the seasons Comment from : Mike Johns |
Mini splits are awesome But I think the whole point of a mining garage is that you can have great airflow in and out of the building Why would you want to condition the mining area??? Comment from : Fearbleeds |
You'd be mad not to do solar Brandondo it right and you can say goodbye to your electricity bills and all mining profits will be yours Comment from : Chris Savill |
It is very important to prepare the floor before you put any sort of coating on it It is much different than painting a wall Even freshly poured concrete must be cleaned with a light degreaser, pressure washed, and allowed to dry thoroughly to remove calcium salts from the surface otherwise you will bond to the salts and dust and not the concrete itself This will lead to blushing and delamination in many places Ideally the coating should be applied to the entire surface including under the steel of the framing as moisture ingress under the epoxy will lead to the same thing Also, epoxy isn't a good choice if there will be heavy traffic on the floor A polyaspartic coating is much more heat, wear, and chemical resistant Having to redo an epoxy coating is not advisable as epoxy requires a strong solvent or something like Soy Gel or Bean e Doo to remove over a period of days along with much more work and a floor machine than doing it right in the first place Comment from : Lightfoot |

I say this because I care Your current systems are covered in dust Please please put some sort of barrier between your car side and mining side Not only will it be cooler when you’re working on your cars but it will drastically improve the air quality or your systems Comment from : Chaz S |

Mini-splits are super easy and definitely DIYable (there are even DIY kits, you'll save A LOT on labour) You should also look into making sure there's enough drainage in case of a flood That floor doesn't look like it's high enough to withstand an average flood, nor do I think the walls are sealed at the bottom Comment from : Acura Addicted |
Office on the left parking for the Harleys in front of office car stall on right rigs on top of office just sayin for a friend you got options bro jellyfish Comment from : John Gregory |

layering with sand after its applied would have been ideal its really dangerous especially for older people to walk on this without a grit when wet solar is not ideal for that location Comment from : pearl rival |
I had the same issue with rain splashing on my shop doors I had the contractors come back and construct an overhead cover off the building Super happy with it Now when it's raining, I can back the truck up to the shed and offload stuff in the drybrbrAlso, those 3600 lb capacity wire shelving units are perfect for setting up rigs and other storage Since you can easily roll them around on a smooth concrete floor, it allows you great flexibility when the need arises You shift the whole garage around in minutes to fit your needs I get 'em at Sam's Club for $90 Comment from : James Hanna |
Oh come on my brother jellyfish, let us see all that amazing muscles of yours <3brJoke aside, i honestly don't have any experience with the epoxy stuff so i can't help sadlybrI really love the sound of cicadas, it sounds like lullaby for me lolbrEnjoy your week my brother <3 Comment from : Cédric CRISPIN |

Ask if they can install a PV meter (without solar) instead of normal and just use the 'out' side of it until solar comes in to play (PV - Photo Voltaic) That's what I have but with Solar and Generac transfer switch Comment from : DavenportTuber |
