I wonder if the hp gtx 1060 3gb is the same as the other 1060 3gb but with another logo like zotak evga asus? and is it worth the same?

i still daily this card, and i even manage running last of us at 1080p but with FSR 21 so its really 720p, and sharpened, but damn it looks nice mines paired with an i7 4790 and 16gb ram

I have a 1060 3GB and it's fine for older games but absolutely terrible for newer games 3GB of VRAM is irrelevant in 2023 (if it wasn't already irrelevant in 2016) I got my 1060 in 2021 and it's what I could afford at the time and still be able to buy games A part of me wishes I'd spent more on the 6GB version (or any 6GB card) because the lack of VRAM strangles the 3GB version to death

I can’t even get Fortnite to play on the lowest settings without terrible performance issues and on other games, using half my vram and it’s unplayable, all my games I had to retire the pc, but that’s definitely a good thing to not be behind a screen constantly

Such a legendary card, even the 3gb model is still a solid choice i think !brEspecially considering that the 6Gb model is ultra expensive now on used market: here in france it sells for over 300€ sometimes compared to the 3Gb that can be found for half the price or less ^^"

I’m still running a 6GB 1060 here And most of the games I’m playing are set on high graphics- i haven’t played cyberpunk yet But with the gaming market right now a 1060 6GB is still really good this year and can even stretch to next year since I’m only looking at playing games like Baldurs Gate 3 and Hogwarts Legacy with a recommended 1070

Built my step sons pc with this card He is very happy with it, plays Minecraft, Fortnite, and Valerint I paired it with a I5-6700 and a evga 650watt psu works great!

Does anyone’s Zotac gtx 1060 3gb runs 70-80c under full load? I used heaven benchmark to stress test the gpu and my country is indeed warm like normal room temperature is roughly 28-30c Thermal paste has also been changed

i have the gtx 1060 3gb mini from gigabyte with a i7-6700 and 16gb ram, i usually keep the games shown in the video on medium-high-ultra and it runs very smooth, this card has a lot of power in my opinion and can get u a very pleasant gaming experience when paired with some other good specs

I have the 6gb version and runs pretty good at 1080 with high resolution, on almost every game Even runs the triple A games fine Might get a spike here and there but could be connection issues Other than than pretty happy with it tbh

Well no wonder, you're using it with an i3 core I've got an i7 Kaby Lake and my 1060 3GB runs pretty smooth for what it is I'm generally an Xbox guy myself, but I've been trying to get back into some PC with my ASUS ROG STRIX GL502VMK gaming laptop It's got an i7 7700 with the GTX 1060 3GB and 16GB of RAM Ran Fallout 4 and Arma 3 very smooth and I want to see how it takes up with some more modern games from the past years or so

Run all my games at 1440p and the most modern I just drop the scale to 80 with a slight overclock and bam I aim for 60-80fps (or higher on older games) Crazy how I go over the 3GB VRAM yet am able to run games without too much issue

I undervolted, overclocked my 1060 3GB to compensate less CUDA cores and played some 1440p or even 4k games, ofc not newest AAA titles :) Good for casual gaming

I was finally able to upgrade from a gtx 960 4gb to a gtx 1070 I have a 1080p monitor so having this card is perfect for the demands of games today and its 144hz so older games can run smoother at 1080p Great video as I was wondering to get this card before I got a little extra cash for the 1070 upgrade

Had this paired with a 5600x (I bought it temporarily and have since upgraded to a 3060) but while I had it, I could run god of war on low settings at around 50-60 fps It was more than what I needed as a “placeholder” I wouldn’t spend any more than 500CAD on a 10 series card so I think this would be a perfect card to get if you just need one for the time being

as someone who uses a 3gb 1060 as their daily driver, i highly recommend against it the extra cost for the 6gb model is worth it that being said, it isn't a bad gpu at all 9 times out of 10 you just set the textures to medium or low, and the 1 other time is when a game thinks a 4k texture is low res
