I run futures grid bots in both directions simultaneously on KuCoin, OKx & Bitget (eg BTC short & BTC long buy low sell high bots simultaneously) It's an even lower risk strategy that can still make a percent or two per week in both bull & bear markets providing you know how to set the settings properly to manage risk The only caveat is that if the market moves very sharply in one direction you can start losing money, but most of the time it comes back enough after these moves to take profit eventually I've found you need to take profits and reset the bots regularly whenever you have the opportunity to ensure the market doesn't move too far to one side of the grid (therefore increasing your exposure against the price trend) I think with a wide enough range and patience you can make money out of it long term I'd be interested to see you explore this
