"Just another AndroidTV box" doesn't do it justice It's one of the very few boxes out there that simply works great for €70brWhat I do miss in the review is the WiFi signal strength for streaming Most people have some distance between the WiFi router and the TV box When does this become an issue

you can dualboot it to batoceralinux, you will get better performance and its easy to do, I tried it on my x96 mini which has a s905W and it worked great

It's the same thing as the last Mi Box? Ugh! UGH! I cannot describe to you in words how disappointed I was with that machine Limited storage, one stinkin' USB port, no SD card slot, and an appalling lack of compatibility with apps made it barely worthy as a paperweight, let alone an Android box

I "upgraded" from an older Fire TV stick to a Mi Box and I cant imagine why I stuck with that garbage For the price, the stick would force you into the Amazon ecosystem (which is understandable) but overtime, it became bloated and up to the point that the latest 2018 update rendered it useless Sold it for loose change brbrIts also difficult to instruct the elderly to navigate and "avoid" clicking on those Amazon banners as most of the time they are only using the stick for Netflix/Kodi brbrI use it for Steam Link and some other stuff If this and the Fire TV are on the same price point, go with this

If I'm correct, the HardKernel ODROID C2 also uses the Amlogic S905, but HardKernel only has Android Marshmallow for it, so I wonder if we can run Android TV on that, Marshmallow, but maybe port and/or compile Oreo for it

God that sucks living in Canada Here it's 100$, which translate to 75 usd :( I want one to replace my asus android tv box, but I can't find it cheaper than that The firestick doesn't support Google play music and need to sideload every update of Kodi which is not ideal I guess I'll need to shell out the extra cash
