What would be the best choice camera for capturing the aurora? I just purchased a new T7 because I am upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone for taking pictures of the aurora here in Fairbanks Am thinking something I can have tripod mounted, live feed to external monitor and remote control for both still shots and about 30 fps video shots Any suggestions?

Another great option for begginers is used cameras, ypu can get a 6d for about 200 bucks which is cheaper and full frame, plus the ergonomics and build quality of older flagship caneras that are cheaper can make them considerably more enjoyable to use Though im saying this from having a 40d as my first camera and being used to a bunch of dials to quickly use manual settings so to each their own

Could someone use the T7 to start monetizing portraits & photo shoots professionally? Or, would it not be a good idea to get this model for professional photography if you were planning to charge people? I’m confused I wouldn’t want to do wedding photography but would like to get into professional photography, like maybe doing portraits or photos for families But I don’t want to get something that wouldn’t produce professional results or cheat people
