Can we write the API definition using YAML instead of logging in into Azure Portal? and deploy into the azure portal If so any clues on how can we do this?

Comment from : Ömer BAYRAM

Nihar Roy
Great Video! Kudos to you for this massive effort ! 👍 I have a small query on the last few lines (35 and 36) of the YAML fileI am not very clear why that last task "publish artifacts" step is needed when we already ziped the necessary files in the previous publish stepWill it somehow effect the end result of the pipeline if we don't add those 2 lines?
Comment from : Nihar Roy

Comment from : Harpreet Singh

Theodor N
Thanks again, just built the YAML file according to your instructions, and everything worked like a charm Had gotten numerous errors when doing everything in the DevOps interface only, like undefined variables, missing zip file (which I didn't have so that was not a big surprise) Also, lost my way navigating the interface time and again, so editing the YAML file was actually easier, if anything! However, I get a message in KUDU saying my app is in read only mode because it's running from a package file Is that something to worry about?
Comment from : Theodor N

Theodor N
Thanks a million, you give a very clear and precise overview of the Azure DevOps process in this tutorial It'll be useful to me
Comment from : Theodor N

pauly
When running the pipeline for the first time, approx 38:30 i am getting "No hosted parallelism has been purchased or granted" I assume this is now expected? as MS has moved the goalposts! I have filled in their form (address given in the error message) and will continue when they fix it Great video by the way i am now a subscriber Your videos are amongst the best i have seen

alireza khorram
I don't understand why you are insisting to use command line to create a simple Web API project with test you could simply use VS to save time The creation of a dummy project was not the intention of this video i guess! the actual relevant content starts after 34:00 minutes For that 46 minutes, i really appreciate you ; -)
Comment from : alireza khorram
