I'm not a fan of the SEC, but they might have a point here The truth is, Coinbase has been deliberately flouting the existing US regulations, and they've been aware of it for quite some time The fact that they've been running their exchange unlawfully for years is a clear sign that they knew they weren't playing by the rules It was all about chasing profits, and that's led to a heap of problems that were just waiting to explode Just take a look at the countless users airing their grievances about them

Good riddance Coinbase has always closed their trading platform during volatile times in the market and masks it as "maintenance" when it truth they just don't have the liquidity for it lol
