I've always found the Keeping Up With The Joneses phenomenon kinda weird I do feel envy of the rich I'd like that kind of money, and that's one of the things that motivates me Not to surpass them--to JOIN them If Bob the Billionaire has a nice yacht, great Maybe I'll get to be on a yacht someday Could be a neat experience But a yacht isn't my style, and I don't need to show off to anybody (I think you can actually rent a yacht, which would be just fine with me) I like that Warren Buffett keeps things simple I have some different tastes from him, but I like the generally low profile life he lives That's more up my alley Comment from : Daniel Kover |
|

5:25 rich isn't a matter of income (flux) but of wealth (stock) 500k of wages a really good year isn't a big deal compared to a wealthy individual that gets 500k of passive income every yearbrThe 500k doctor isn't rich - but he will most likely be "rich" if he saves enough to either 1) have something to consume once his career gets dry 2) or generate a passive income 3) generate the passive income equivalent to what he earned as a doctor In that order That's the three degrees of being rich : security, partially passive income, full passive income with a high standard of livingbrThe day I earn more with passive income than my wages, I will consider myself rich, without any consideration for what other people earn Comment from : Foobar |

My Key takeaways:br1 Your attitude towards money matters more than how smart you arebr2 Understand that the stock market can be unpredictable, but accepting and managing its ups and downs is necessary for potential wealthbr3 Remember that there will always be people with more money, so avoid risking what you have and need for unnecessary wantsbr4 Recognize that everyone is different, and it's better to develop your own investment approach instead of blindly imitating othersbr5 Prepare yourself mentally and financially to handle unexpected financial setbacks or emergenciesbr6 Be cautious when seeking investment advice, as negative outlooks may seem more practical, but optimism can also be valuable in making informed decisions Comment from : Abhiroop kumar |

I love how these books always talk about the basic stuff And I mean the really basic stuff No framework, or how to start your portfolio, which best practices are exactly helpful, or structured cash flow possibilities are mostly used No understanding about taxes, financial loopholes, etc brBecause the book is just a consumer good, that is one way to make money off the people who buy it!! The self-help book market, as well as the "get rich" market, is worth billions of dollars a year Comment from : PapaMidnite33 |

BTC and Crypto is off helping to regulate, rather than pretend it won't ever happen The big institutions getting in is the catalyst that will launch us into the stratosphere Most people don't like change but after the change is made they grow used to it and it becomes a non issue usually because their fears never materialize The projects that initiated the process of regulation have not been ruined, they got involved in setting guidelines and helping the regulators understand the crypto space I’d get involved more knowing that I have made over 7 btc and 15ETH from day-trade with Mrs Vera Richards in few weeks✅ Comment from : OLGA MARIA NEGRON |
