saw a decon group that cleaned up after a trans woman's death and they thought her scalp and glued to her bed and were horrified to find nests of flesh eating bugs in it, but it turned out to have been some sort of wig which is still horrifying and still showed how ill she had gotten that she didn't even notice or feel it but at least it wasn't her literal scalp

I don't know if it's relevant but I was sitting in an ambulance and they put a heart rate monitor on me and I watched my heart rate drop and rate when they're about to use the paddle I told him to stop don't and my heart rate shot up to normal but normal for me which is below average I do 40 beats a minute that's normal for me

I was a nurse One patient was at end-stage dementia Son was asked to sign a Do Not Resuscitate He refused He wanted everything done I knew from earlier time he had visited that he hated his dad but promised his mom to take care of him I believe that the son wanted his dad to suffer and refused to let him go Punitive life of misery for the old dude Son was just a creep Ugh

13:56 - THIS This is why everyone in my family and close friends knows what my wishes are with regards to end of life care, invasive treatment and when to withdraw care If they really love me, they will NEVER do that to me, because they know it would be the last thing that I want CPR isn't like it is in the movies and keeping someone alive even though they are suffering just because you can't say goodbye when they have zero quality of life is the ultimate of selfish

Flu like symptoms, ‘the worst headache you’ve ever had’ and an unexplained rash are textbook, red flag waving signs of meningitis There really needs to be more public awareness of this condition, it can go from a bad day to death SO QUICKLY People need to have these symptoms memorised
