Before watching: I’ve been thinking of turning my 300$ in doge into LTC as I feel doge is dying as ive seen social media stars rip people like Elon and Cuban for “pushing” people into it and then abandoning them yesterday, Tweets from them havent really made it budge lately, maybe one time since Elon’s SNL sketch. Once the market gets out of this recession maybe it will change many factors making me believe this as the coin doesnt actually have a use other than the value the celebrities gave it w their hype so I’m trying to do my own research. Correct me if I’m wrong but I also believe that a founder of doge says the coin has no user interface so how would elon/devs truly improve it other than the hype?

After: I bought 200$ of LTC and I’m going to keep my faith in doge until in the very least the Coinbase listing as a last hope for a jump over the coming weeks but after and there is no jump or promising signs Im going to exit and reinvest as it will cover what I put into LTC and a little extra.

Yes I know I will have a loss there but enless doge decides to bless us I rather take the minimal loss from it and exit and likely reinvest what I got out of it into different coins I wouldn’t have put anything in it if I couldn’t handle the loss as nobody should invest in crpyto if they can’t accept the fact of possibly losing money as you cannot predict the volatility of what may happen. In other words “You win some and you lose some”

Last year I made my first investment into the stock market into some cruise lines with the thought process that overtime things will return to normal and the stocks should go back up. I took my vacation money from 2020 and turned it into a nifty profit. Started to branch out to crypto a little while ago and dipped my toes into Doge when it was still at five cents. 100% have made some mistakes along the way but rode Doge to a little profit and have invested into Litecoin and some others with becoming an Ape as well two weeks back with some AMC purchases. Overall I have found several YouTube channels to help learn from and gather insight into the market and have been extremely grateful for such channels like this one. Your insight is always calm and reasoned out and more importantly you help this complete noob into the stock market feel more confident with what I am doing.

Many times in my life I have been referenced by Matthew Perry by mistake and not Penny, usually the actor gets brought up but going forward I will give the nod to the helpful man on youtube. Cheers sir! And my sister in law would kill me if I didn't through in a WHO DAT since she's from New Orleans. :-)

Neither right now. Doge has dumped 3 times in about a month. Eventually, it won’t bounce back.

I’m not against Doge. I turned $10k into $55k in like 2 months with Doge. But, crypto is super unstable right now.

If someone said to me in 2014 he was a doge-coin investor I would roll on the floor laughing. Ofcourse times have changed. Dogecoin has a rich tweeting billionaire attached to it and could spike out of nothing. Reasons not to invest in doge:

1. You are late to the party, best you can get is prob 1$ that's a 3x, a 10x is really unlikely.
2. Doge inflates just as fiat does, long term it loses value if buying pressure remains the same.
3. It's very dependent on Retailers, it will do poor in a bear market.
4. It has had close to zero development.

Reasons to invest:

1. It has great spiking potential. De chances that it's gonna spike again are pretty good. Just remember to take profit during a spike. Never buy when Doge is going up, never ever. Also don't try to hodl doge trough a bear market. The hype will die out it can't be maintained for multiple years.

Litecoin is a great investment but it's not doing that great compared to bitcoin. I hold quite some litecoin and my strategy is to sell it when it spikes every other year and accumulate when it's really low compared to btc. Currently it's at 0.005btc and it will prob hit 0.0015btc If I had to choose between LTC and doge and needed to hodl for a year I would definitely take litecoin.

Markets aren't rational. Consider this.. It will take 75 years for the current supply of DOGE to triple. It can triple in price in a week. It can go ludicrous if sellers are asleep and limit sells get blown through. As long as the whales don't drop (True for most coins) there's really no mathematical cap to it. Market cap is just a narrative to rationalize the irrational. :)
