just got this game and I started making a massive stave church house its about 16 meters tall so far with a base area of about 30 meters by 20 meters I was on day 15 or so when I started making it and its made out of just plain wood as I don't know how to get core wood right now my problem is that the top floor is red even though the structure is pretty sound

Also, if you want a basement you need to make sure your basement is above sea level otherwise water will fill your basement

1:48 When building on water its best to use a Cart to stand on in the water for it float and if you still need extra room to go lower sit down on the cart and youll be able to access even more

would love to spend time building nice looking places like this, but with the horde/raid/purge style mechanics it's pointless :( wish you could turn that crap off, i know there are mods for it but we really shouldn't have to resort to mods to fix what the devs should have given us from the start, customisable world options!brbrit's been what 2 or 3 years since it released? they are so slow at doing anythin with the game, especially for the amount of money they got from sales, they coulda hired some modders an got stuff rolling

5:39 Yeah soon only took another year ahabrbrStill amazing what people with creative brains can do with the limited objects ingame, but as a creative void, I feel like Valheim is extremely lacking in building parts and mods are very hit or miss, usually the latter
