Hey - just wondering - what should i do if I can't remember the old WiFi name and password?

Brilliant brother! The only thing I have to add is that I used two iPhone to make this work I have the 13 or 14 and what I did was change my iPhone name to my old router's wifi name It launched the hot spot as that name

this is such an asinine flaw & workaround that i thought amazon would have changed or fixed by now but nope, still works as of sep 2023 used my iphone as a hotspot, ipad as remote thank you!!

lifesaver fr, i didnt use two devices but my wife so kindly reminded me we could change the ssid to our tmobile home internet box, so thats what we did and low and behold it worked thank you so much, we were able to get it connected

good video, it worked for me Just one thing - at approx 2:00, he mentions that iPhones won't allow you to change the SSID name, but actually you can by going to General > About > Name (which is also used as the SSID name)

You can't connect the App to the Fire Stick if the Fire Stick is not on You cannot turn on the Fire Stick without the remote Or if you can, i cannot figure it out This is driving me insane
