How much time did you manage to save on your render? Leave a comment!brbrI made an oopsie; please disable CPU in the system preferences if that’s possible It makes renders slower than having ONLY the GPU enabled brbrAlso because the images in this video might be a bit small to compare, here are all the full size images per timestamp;br imgurcom/a/mDzecBm Comment from : Kaizen |

Thank you Kaizen Comment from : António Valente |

|
I was having some trouble with my Blender renders being very slow I checked my settings and saw that the rendering method was set to "None" I had no idea what that meant, but I figured it couldn't be good I searched online for a solution and found a video by Kaizen Tutorials that explained that "None" is a slow rendering method that is only really useful for older graphics cards The video suggested changing the rendering method to "Optix" if you have a newer graphics card, and I decided to give it a trybrbr I changed the rendering method to "Optix" and my renders were suddenly blazing fast! I couldn't believe it I had been wondering if there was something wrong with my graphics card, but it turns out that I just needed to change a setting I'm so grateful to Kaizen Tutorials for explaining the solution to this problem Their video saved me a lot of time and frustration Comment from : Ali Fathi |

Hi Kaizen, I started using a Windows computer again after a long time My Windows computer has an AMD RX580 graphics card, and I found out that Blender no longer supports this card I saw that you are using an RTX3070Ti, do you recommend it or should I look into slightly higher models? I live in Turkey, and unfortunately, the economy and inflation are really bad here, so it takes 4-5 salaries to buy a single RTX4090 in our country Comment from : Can Tm |

Great video But I have a question Yes I know that each project we work on need different render settings But for the sake of experimentation Is there a way to save the render settings for the next project ? Instead of having to reset them every-time you create a new project, to your preferred settings Comment from : Dennis Frederick |

wow I am unsure of what exactly to say, I am currently working on a scene based on a street with shop fronts from a film, it's relying heavily on the lighting provided by shop signs etc I modelled it in Eevee to get the look down and now moved to Cycles to get the feel right - you just knocked a render that predicted 16hr (btw I used very basic tools as I came to Blender almost accidentally and fell in love with this style of art) and my render just got down in around 5-6minutes AND I had to rely on CPU because of my build AND it looks incredible considering it's half complete - thank you Comment from : Shaun Parfitt |
|
Why didn't I find it earlier!!! Reduced rendering time of a still render from 45 mins to 83 seconds 🤯🤯🤯😲😲 just can't believe what i'm seeing!! Thinking of how many countless hours I wasted till now! Can't thank you enough bro ❤❤❤from INDIA Comment from : The AquaKing |

The least gain in speed was reducing the bounces, which also decreased the final quality the most Comment from : → to the knee |
|
7:02 - You've got 8 GB of VRAM, which is what is used when rendering on the GPU, right? Unless the BVH is calculated on the CPU before rendering Comment from : → to the knee |

|
Thanks for this nwn My render time changed from 3-4 hours for one still image to only around 45 minutesbrComing from someone who probably is way too picky on how perfect the render quality is (with the samples set to 1,000 no joke) I'd say noise threshold of 001 is when there's pretty much no difference at all in the render, even with the pic magnified you wouldn't be able to tell a differencebrNot only did setting a threshold save time, but it also seemed to make it easier to have it rendering in the background, since before when I tried doing other things on computer while rendering it'd be a lot laggier too XwX Comment from : FilmyCat |
