At 3:15 I don't think sub zero was about to kill Scorpion's son when he reached out for his hand It seemed almost like he had a brief humble moment I'm sure if Scorpion was home at the time they would have fought to the death, but it almost seems like the mom pulling the son away from him was the initial trigger, the ice on his hands start to grow as he fills with hate, insinuating that his ice powers derive from his anger the same way netherealm scorpion does with fire Such an interesting set of characters that every single game have a rivalry but is so deep and well thought out by the writers I think if they would have just done this entire movie based off of the rivalry with scorpion and sub zero, this movie would have made box office records

Everyone says this movie sucked, but this is one of a trilogy and i beleive the second is still in production as the actors all had contracts, meaning this was really the set up mostly frankly, i liked it, felt like mortal kombat without piggybacking off the already existing story to tell the same thing again, the only thing that was off for me was the arcana, i think thats done for the next movies cause everyone unlocked it already! It should be klassic tournament and world war now, and thats exciting to think about
