The power draw is dependent on the specific algo the miner is using at any given time Mine do it too You just have to watch it for a while and get a baseline before you choose a low power psu to make sure you're in the right range Thanks for the heads up on that psu last week too I grabbed one when they were at $2499 and swapped it out with a 1300W spare that was installed but was the only spare I had This 450W is much better suited for the job and was cheap enough to justify

The fluctuation in power consumption is most likely caused by different algos kicking in As RTM is asic proof and the way cpuminer works it switches the algos, that’s also why your hashrates jump around

Power changes because of raptoreum algo changes on each block For raptoreum you nees to get the max for psu calculation and average for profit calculations
