Does this do anything for button latency? The input lag for Genesis/MD games was such a disappointment that i ended up barely using mine

So many steps & I can’t even download anything from the files nothings working I’m guessing it updated because everything looks completely different & the guide isn’t very helpful in my opinion Look like I’ll just wait for RP3 hopefully it’ll be 81 out the box

hey man, id like to consider myself well versed in computer things, but i feel completely lost! First of all the scatter file is not in the folder you say it is, i found it in the RP2-81v4_Single_Boot folder and to top it off the files that show up when loading that android scatter file are less than what appear to you Im just completely lost, i feel like i threw money away trying to follow your guide Not blaming you just annoyed that after a certain point in your video nothing makes sense, and even following retroids own guide, i still dont know what im doing wrong because, when i try to run the flashing app nothing happens when i connect the RP2 to the usb cable any help is greatly appreciated, might just sell this piece of crap, way too complex to just update, when i just wanted something simple to game on

Why does your link provide the version of 81 without RetroidOS? It's literally called "81v4 Single Boot - No RetroidOS" which erases RetroidOS!! I'm kinda glad the flash failed because I would have been bummed out

Thank you for making this video I ordered a RP2, and planned on upgrading it, and some of the higher-end emulators to play some of the PSX1, and N64 games I want to play again I’m HOPING the RP3 is powerful enough to run Dreamcast or maybe even PS2 games smoothly, and comes with L3, R3 buttons, and other features like a larger screen with higher screen resolution

Hi! Thank you for this guide, super helpful! I recently had my console and I managed to update it to Android 81 thanks for your guide As a side note, your video refers to the Android 81 "v2" firmware while now the version "v4" is out there and this guide still applies to perform the update The only difference I found is when the operating system was flashed and I booted up the console, all the stock apps were automatically installed too I think that this happened because my SD card already had the "preinstall" folder in it Thank you!

You can never get the right 'analogue stick' working in say, GTA etc its not an analog stick It has 8 directions, same as a D-Pad Only the left stick is analogue

I was trying to update my retro pocket and when I was using the smart phone tool to transfer the information I did not get green check so I tried again but it still doesn't work So, I unplug my retroid pocket and tried to turn it on and now it won't turn on any suggestions?

My pc won't even recognizes my device because I am new to android and was watching a tutorial and disabled launcher3 but didn't know that would kill the OS I love how detailed this is but I don't know if this will fully help me or if I am doing something wrong to make my computer recognize the retroid I would love some help please :)
