The best fertilizer is urine My parents always used urine and we had tons of yield and our garden was loaded They never spent a penny on gardening gadget , pots or shop at the stores Always planted from seeds they saved The Asian way lol And we never user raise bed none of that all, planted in the grown no compost none none All Organic I'm referring to the OG'S like my parents lol Still today a lot us follow this method Including myself only one is skip is the urine I'm afraid our neighbors will smell it and our daughter will not eat the vegetables lol So I use fish fertilizer instead no compost etc

I had our soil tested this year Was pleasantly surprised by the results However, it recommended a 10-10-10 application of fertilizer This doesn’t sound correct Thoughts?

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of years now They are very informative, so thank you I started using Neptune Harvest fertilizer because listening to you talk about them peaked my interest I used them in my garden last year and I was impressed I’m going to get a sprayer and fertilize the foliage this year as I only used a watering can last year I’m sure I’ll have great success again this year How soon after your seeds come up can you fertilize? I’ve got seedlings growing so I’m wondering when I need to start adding fertilizer

In the UK there are plenty of really expensive organic fertilizers (in small plastic containers) such as the one this gentleman is promoting But why waste money buying them? Instead buy cheap organic fertilizers such as Fish Blood and Bone, Seaweed Meal, Garden Lime or Chicken Manure pellets by the sack Combine them with well managed compost heaps and you're well set They won't go off if kept properly and the bonus is that you will likely not be caught out when the supply of the expensive stuff is cut off by the Zombie Apocalypse In the meantime you will save money and generate a lot less plastic

Great video, Brian It sounds simple, but unless people have someone to teach them it can be confusing to use organic methods You are a wonderful resource for those with less experience I do get GREAT results with Neptune's Harvest liquid fertilizer I also amend my beds with my own homemade organic dry fertilizer each year: cottonseed meal, bone meal, and kelp meal

Thanks for the info on how to use the Neptune's Harvest Tomato & Veg I mixed one ounce of the fertilizer with one gallon of water and gently watered my plants with a plastic, one-gallon milk jug This year, I have only one cherry tomato plant and two pepper plants so fertilization is easy

Great video! I was looking back for fertilizing information for the current season and you answered my questions Per your advice I switched over to Neptunes Harvest Kelp and lobster dry products for the planting process to setup the tomatoes properly and use the liquid tomato/veg for the twice monthly feeding Two pieces on information i gained from this video: 1 liquid feed weekly if possible, 2 water the ground prior to feeding Thanks again for the information!

Thank you for this video Brian I have always been a little confused as to how much fertilizer to put on my plants when the directions say "apply 1 inch of mixed liquid fertilizer" You mentioned that you apply one 2 gallon container to half of your raised container bed That makes a lot more sense to me I just started using Neptune's Harvest as you suggested and applying early in the morning We'll see if my plants perk up Love your videos!
