Jade plants are the easiest plants to grow… I live in California and you can just cut off a branch and stick it straight into the ground and it will grow… start in full sun in a season that hasn’t become too intense or start in the shade… Couldn’t be easier… I planted a large jade border with about 10 four inch cuttings… grew to good 10 inches tall in a few short months … the plant flowers beautifully with lovely yellow flowers and last for weeks … I planted these directly into tilled untreated ground… couldn’t be easier …just sayin’ 😊

Thanks for your super useful video My fairly large jade looks healthy leaf wise but the stems are really I'd say bouncy and bending over a lot, as you mentioned in the video may need to be pruned ,but could I do that with it being September?

How come that jade plant you have had for 5 years is only that big? I trimmed my 25 year old jade last year and planted the cutting that was around the same size as yours A year later they are about 30cm big

I got a small one from home depot 30 years ago and it’s huge, it spends summer outside in the sun and it’s beautiful The best planting pots for them are clay pots!
