Anyone that thinks we are late is blind We are approaching only the fourth of 32 halving events occurring over the next century We are very early and uniquely positioned among all the generations before us and after us It is humbling and awe inspiring Btw, I would equate Bitcoin to the steam engine, which converted thermal energy to mechanical energy in powering the locomotive The locomotive is more like the lightning network IMHO

99 of us can't afford $26,000 bitcoin You are better off buying Doge and sprinkle in some ETH, Solana, etc Those can 10x, bitcoin has limited upside compared to cheap coins Personally, a good goal for most would be to obtain a few ETH

It is called Future Shock A book written in 1970 was about humans not able to keep pace psychologically with the actual rate of societal and technical change We cant cope with change fast enough, because evolution made us slower adopters, otherwise we would perish taking too high a risk too quickly Up to now, that human trait mostly killed off those that adopted it

So I get why Bitcoin purists call other cryptocurrencies "sh*tcoins" but what if someone just starts a carbon copy of BTC and calls it BTC2? If the protocol is identical, can it really be considered a "sh*tcoin"? Does Satoshi have a patent or copywrite (or whatever) on the BTC protocol?
