I could careless about maxing I just want a skillcape and also to get 99 construction and smithing Idk why those are my favorite skills Lol

an older video suggested to quest up to be able to barbarian fish max 99 fishing on the barbarian rod fishing and you end up with 70 something agility and str the questing will be much easier with the short cuts from the agility that you wrap up 2nd

It's been a year and this still holds true The one downfall I think that everyone encounters after starting to go for max, is how truly slow it really is Especially the last 3 skills mining agility and rc Maxing sounds great until you realize on average its a year at the very minimum to get max If not 2-3 years from start And unfortunately people just truly aren't that dedicated Theres quite a few who are but thinking of spending 300 hours on a skill, can be super demotivating lol

There's also the option of making a balanced account and not killing yourself while trying to max a skill in one go

I think there is a 3rd method of maxing which you did not highlight Because I have a rune drag alt, I'm going to split up maxing into afk and non-afk skills I'm going to utilize 0-time and afk skills that take longer because of low xp rates, but in the end I will be more effective because I will have more gp to spend on buyable skills I will also be able to work on my alt account so build it into a perfect alt so that once I finish with Slayer, I will be able to dolo lots of bosses, use alt as a food runner, use alt for lunars, etc
