Is there something like this for other languages?

Inna Avetova
I have doubts about a couple of, cos the only thing I could come up to was “two times” but that didn’t cover the whole meaning, so I was a little bit puzzled Though “several” doesn’t show the number thus it can’t be relevant to the “a couple of” Anyway, you can still use this variant, since it shows “more that one” No critics, just discussing

Dawn
In synonym videos like these, always make sure you check your understanding of the word with a native speaker, or at least a dictionarybrbrMost of these words and phrases are not a perfect match They are useful to learn, as long as you truly understand how you use them

Katrina Average-potato
As a native english speaker, if you want to sound more professional instead of ‘a number of’ I would say ‘multiple’ “There is a number of problems” vs “there are multiple problems” I just think it sounds a little more natural but tbh no one would notice or care, it’s just my opinion
