Is there something like this for other languages? Comment from : LimeGreenTeknii |

I have doubts about a couple of, cos the only thing I could come up to was “two times” but that didn’t cover the whole meaning, so I was a little bit puzzled Though “several” doesn’t show the number thus it can’t be relevant to the “a couple of” Anyway, you can still use this variant, since it shows “more that one” No critics, just discussing Comment from : Inna Avetova |

As a native english speaker, if you want to sound more professional instead of ‘a number of’ I would say ‘multiple’ “There is a number of problems” vs “there are multiple problems” I just think it sounds a little more natural but tbh no one would notice or care, it’s just my opinion Comment from : Katrina Average-potato |
