If the screen to the PS3 seems black despite tried to change visual settings and more, try to press and hold “ON/OFF” button until 3 beeps, not just two as before to reset settingsbrbrAfter 3 beeps it will restart Press and hold until 2 beeps After this I finally got my picture via HDMI cable and could upgrade settings from 560p to 1080p and it worked fine!

I've tried doing everything in your video nothing has worked my worst fear may be what is wrong and that is the HDMI slot on the back of the ps3 has failed and no matter what HDMI Cable I use nothing works tried switching TVs didnt work see I was playing God of war Ascension on ps3 and was enjoying the game all of a sudden screen goes black and its orignal ps3 like yours I've even tried holding power button to reset The HDMI Settings with the other cord which looks like it's from a ps2 but slots in just the same I have tried everything and the ps3 is to Expensive to repair so annoyed :/

Connected a 720p tv to my PS3 which was set to 1080p, image all garbled up Thanks to your 5 second power button suggestion it now works, thanks!

Don’t keep turning your PS3 off with the switch in the back you can damage the your circuit board and very possibly lose data most likely corrupting it Just a friendly tip

Can you hear that fan of getting louder and louder and louder lol makes me laugh it's going to take off soon probably needs delidding if it's only been powered up and it's making that racket
