Rivers do split - bifurcation It is rare and can be man made but there are many examples of this naturally occurring Lakes can also do this - bifurcation lakes There are many examples of lakes with 2 different flows leaving and going in completely different directions You are safe not splitting your rivers but it isn't impossible Comment from : Jon Hunt |

I don't think the rivers you draw at 3:30 ish are correct I've been told that to draw a river joining another it needs to be in the shape of a V (the confluence) you have some ^ shapes going on around that mark which look like they're splitting Comment from : Sarithus |
