Just saw this today I live in SoCal and have lived in Baja in the past, I also believe that Mexico is a natural for Crypto But I also have a theory that Mexico may be positioning itself to be a bit player in this space 1 Mex just elected its first leftest president (AMLO) in 60 years 2 He is chummy with Venezuela and Cuban leaders but very much in the down low 3 Mexican economy is very stable at this time 4 They are next door to the largest economy in the world 5 Huge remittances (like you said) going south and huge medical tourism from the US to Mex the use of crypto would be a shoe in ( Dentacoin are you listening while you play with the lint in your belly button your are missing a huge market there) 6 largest puchase of land using cypto took place in Baja Sur, is this going to be a Citadel?
