Hi Great review I was thinking of getting one of these to install in a m350 case Do you think there'll be a problem with the fit since this is a beefier unit? |

I don't understand how this 160W PSU is supposedly capable of supplying a typical i7 with mid-range GPU When I simulate my current system ( outervisioncom/b/YGtvt2 ) it requires at least 270W, while it isn't particularly demanding (GTX960 and cheap i5) Should I be able to use this HD Plex 160W? With additional SATA drives it estimates 290W almost double the 160W Could you please advise? Comment from : JonasTheKing |
Hi, I purchased the hdplex 160 with the hp 230w power brick, currently running it with an underclocked and undervolted 6700k at 34ghz and an evga 1060 sc When I run uniengine valley benchmark, my computer sometimes turns off and resets, does this happen with you as well? Comment from : C Z |
Will it fit on the streacom f1c WS case ? Comment from : Meta Being |
I am curious about the Pico PSU; the Pico is not expelling any heat because it is only doing minor voltage adjustments for the 33 and 5v rail while 12v is passing straight through its solid-state switches into the system It seems to me that a Pico PSU could be modified to push ANY wattage PCIE-powered video-card by attaching an extra high-amperage solid state relay/transistor that passed through extra 12v DC power to a video card; I think I'll experiment with this idea on my bench with an old 8800GT I have lying round Comment from : stevey500 |
Awesome video and PSU!brI recently made my own build using the awesome S4 Mini and a HDPlex 300w, and I'm finding it difficult using the default Sata power cables that came with the PSU - I can't seem to close my case And I noticed you've fixed that! brHow did you do it? Some kind of extender in between? Comment from : Jeppe Ebbesen |
Would this fit within a Logic Supply MC600 build? Comment from : gavin dodd |
YES!!!! A BLACK PCB PICO!!! I'm in lovebrbrJ Comment from : Joseph Glover |
Can this HD PLEX 160W alone power a GTX 1070 mini? I mean just to power the GPU alone, without powering any other things like the motherboard Comment from : Jr Brian Hogan |
Do you think the i7 3770 & GTX 1060 with this will work? The 3770 has 77 watt TDP Comment from : Nscwalk |
Keep up the good work Jay Your videos are quality as usual Comment from : bizzy247 |
Gave you the like/sub and here is the commentbr"Very Clean editing!" Comment from : Roiu46 |
G-Unique looks promising as it can deliver up 480w limited by only a modded 400w power brick We will have to wait and see how reliable it is over time, but naturally high-wattage plug-and-play psus will be the future to me Comment from : Albert |
Great stuff You've really found a great niche with the tiny form factor content Keep it up bud! Comment from : Blakon |

I'm running a 6700k and a gtx1060, are the power bricks that you have listed in the description good enought for my system? Thanks Comment from : C Z |
I thought Josh would've beaten you on this one I'm definitely liking this option over the HDPLEX 300 (and the pico option) and it seems like it should be enough for a GTX 1060 with an i5 6500 Comment from : jon norris |
I'm glad that a high quality production channel exists for SFF custom parts/builds thanks brah Comment from : サーバント |
