my pc wants to run RL at like 250 FPS so people shouldnt do this if they have already got enough frames they should rather limit theirs in game to something not more than double theire screens refresh rate

@SpookLuke, I don't know if this happened because of the new season update or this video right here, but when I did every step correctly and restarted my PC, there was so much more input lag and my frames would go from 140 to 60 every 2 seconds and I was extremely angry I doubt I'm the only one with this complaint, not happy about this one Spook

Some advice for PlayStation console players: Those random fps spikes become a lot less common when you turn down your video quality to 720p from 1080p I don't know why, i just found it on reddit and it worked

When the new season update landed, I noticed rocket league on my Xbox Series X started having some real frame-rate issues, which I realized once I hit a map with weather effects, and for some reason they were back on even though they used to be off Ended up shutting off the weather effects, making sure everything was set to performance, and turned off the sound tracks while in game (which I usually leave on because a lot of the music is awesome), and it helped so much Idk why the latest update affected the FPS on series X so much

Your settings are useless for your setup, I'm not sure you understand how all that stuff worksbrhaving 3070 on 1080p is so overkill for rocket league you could actually get a 360hz 1080p screen and still rock it with max settingsbrand zero input lagsbrbrThere are settings like v-sync that elevate your input lag, but that related to settings that post-processing the frame after the whole framebris already calculated

Just noting the nvidia changes will affect all of your games if you change the global profile, so if you're having issues in other games you might want to go back and change the nvidia 3d settings Also uncapped fps will be bad for slower or mid PCs because it will cause random FPS drops because it's trying to max out your FPS but struggles to maintain that high FPS consistently It's usually better to cap at your monitors refresh rate because anything above that your monitor will ignore anyways
