A tip on good winter boots, make sure that the inner boot liner/felt booty is REMOVABLE, so many expensive boots with no removable liner! Useless!!! You must be able to dry that wet liner or your feet are doomed

For 9995 percent of the North American population, If you must bug out in a winter situation, you better damn well have another place to bug out to (house, trailer, motel room etc) and a good way to get there like a 4-wheel drive truck Just forget trying to live off the land We've mostly lost that ability The guys who can do it now are very few and do it mostly for demonstration purposes
