I am so glad I stopped eating lunchables in second grade I used to eat them everyday for lunch, but I soon realized that every time I ate them, I would feel so sick and nauseous I told my parents and we stopped getting lunchables At first, I thought I was the only person who felt this, but I’ve asked my friends and they said that they felt nauseous after eating lunchables too I’m definitely never getting lunchables again

I live in Canada, and at my school, the meals they serve are similar to the meals presented in Sweden They don't serve Lunch Mate or anything, everyday there's a main course, or you can get a soup instead, and they also serve a dessert I've tried their meals a few times (this year the main course costs $7), and they are delicious, and they consistently make it look very appetizing I don't know about the nutrition facts, or how healthy it is, but at least it's better than just the same old processed ham and cheese from Lunchables (I'm not even allowed to eat ham since I'm Arabic) Though, I don't often but from my school's cafeteria, I usually bring homemade lunch In the time I've been in my current high school, I've bought from the cafeteria less than 10 times

Lunchables may not be healthy but school lunches in my day were disgusting Not sure if school lunches have improved since the late 90's but at my school it was so gross the only edible thing was their crappy pizza lunch I always packed my own lunch so I would never have to eat school lunches You want to be healthy just make your own lunch, letting a school manage what you eat is stupid cause they have a limited budget so of course they are gonna sell you cheap food Also actually check what prison food is like in the US before assuming it is better, prison food is so low quality and disgusting it is one of the main things that reminds me why I never want to end up in a prison The reality is parents need to be responsible for making sure their kids eat right even at school Both my parents had full time jobs and still had time to pack me a lunch until I was old enough to make my lunches myself Lunchables are bad but they are not the main cause of the problem, just a symptom of it In the end the health of you and your family is in your hands and if you let a summer camp, school, or prison control your diet of course you are likely going to be unhealthy

My dad sent me to school with one of those for my lunch, thats all, apart from a fruit shoot drink 🙈 i hated them, the smell as soon as i opened them was awful, i couldnt get past that to actually eat it For year i pretty much had a diet id only have dinner to eat the whole day, that's from like 4yo Im 32 now and cant handle a normal diet, it is very much a fasting diet, no breakfast or lunch, only dinner and supper It can really unset my stomach to load up the whole day

The pink slime thing is actually not that bad, it's the ingredients and chemicals they add to the finely ground meat In Austria and Germany we have something like this which is called Leberkäse, which is produced by butchers and farmers for ages, there is no good translation for it, it is basically a meatloaf, if you get it from a proper butcher it just contains the meat, salt and spices
