The difference is that your talking about xrp like it is the company when ripple is the company that created the software product and could create more projects above any beyond that or put forth funds to works on other projects that work with xrp and ripple is the company you can invest in but what the product that does great things like fast transactions with a liquidity option and completes cross boarder payments in 5 seconds on top of being able to exchange from one currency to another that gets burned and has a set amount which creates a supply and demand situation it will be worth way more than most phathom and needs a higher start price to last Ripple on the other hand has a great development and management team as we can see with current business development and court case wins and will be around for a long time to come especially being established worldwide already
