The vita hasnt got tje best controls,its games were a bit on the lite portable side too,and its battery wasn't great and not easy to replacebrbrI had two vita units and felt that the tech was over stretched,touch screen problems,battery not charging and losing capacity,control sticks with bad deadzones,overpriced portable games and graphics that weren't that much of an upgrade over the psp,it could push a bit more polygons and had better smoothing filters but that was about itbrbrThe vita failed in my eyes,too many issues and bad-backwards choices when it came to remote play on ps3 and tv out,some of its touch features were more of a gimmick than function,i also didnt lile the vita screen quality brbrCFW Psp FAT was and still is my goto handheld for litterally thousands of games so i dont really see moving to vita as that much of a big dealbrbrYeh the vita was good but it was just an upgraded psp

Vita means "life" in latin People said it was ironic that received this name since it had ended Sony's handheld line up But from a different perspective the name fits perfectly since its still kept alive by fans who create mods and ports for it This thing was ahead of its time

The reason as to why the Vita isn't really celebrated is due to the fact it has so much propriety bullshit that prevents it from being user friendly Sony wasted money on so much stuff to 'prevent' priracy instead of concentrating on creating the best handheld Even with these drawbacks, I think the Vita is still the best handheld around The screen is insane for the price that you pay even now on the second-hand market It's worth buying just because of the OLED screen's ridiculously high quality I wish that we would've gotten an OLED version of the 3DS

Psp is mini ps2, while ps vita in fact is mini ps3, sony handheld way better than nintendo, even you compared the latest switch graphic is actually on par with way older ps vita

Just look at how good it looks Every time I pick up a vita and I'm always sort of staring at how good it looks and feels It's just the perfect size too Not too big, not too small The PSP is almost just too small sometimes but it's really nites too

Here's the thing The PS Classics brough some nice games to the Vita Market I don't see that a Modded vita could play these There's how ? if yeah, how ? brbrPlus, I really wanted to play MGS1 on vita, but the controls of Adrenaline are subpar, at best There's a way to allow analog on these games ?

I’ve been a fan since day one the Psvita is an amazing game to home brew and ports also the community on Reddit is very helpful if you have any issues with your jailbreak vita

I love the Vita I just wish it was the tiniest bit more powerful, mostly for ps2 games, even when overclocked or even with the coreunlocker some games still struggle to hit 30fps, even if at a lower than native resolution, jak and daxter probably being the worst offender The fault is more on the devs ports than it is an actual issue with hardware but still, if the Vita could get an average like 3 fps improvement that alone would be a game changer

Love the Vita It was sitting in a box, until recently when I saw the mods available and started using it again An excellent console that is still in my eyes a superior handheld device for all the classic games Such a shame Sony ditched it as there is so many indie titles being released these days that would be perfect for the Vita

I'm so glad I found this channel I have a Vita sitting in my drawer that I've been trying to decide what to do with (since I usually travel with my Switch and play PS games on my PS5 at home) It really is a great little hand-held and since the next Sony hand-held is going to be a remote-play tablet, this might be the best one we ever see from Sony

I had a vita once, it was a 1000 model which i refurbished myself with full new shell, and new analog stick, 64 gb vita memory card, and 512 gb in sd2vita and sadly thief broke into my house and took it along with some other stuff 😭
