Bimodal stimulation might not move the needle as much as traditional treatment, but the idea of taking a holistic approach to tinnitus care might not be complete without something like bimodal stimulation, because bimodal stimulation may be helping to solve the problem from an angle that no other tinnitus treatment is doing The traditional treatments are helping your brain get into a positive feedback loop in order to train your brain to filter tinnitus out or perceive it less That's great But what would ialso/i be great is if there was a treatment (like bimodal stimulation) that could also possibly just reduce the tinnitus signal I don't expect it to eliminate the tinnitus signal altogether, which is why we still need habituation, but I don't think it make sense to exclude bimodal stimulation on the basis that it doesn't move the needle as much as some other treatment It may be moving the needle in a way that no other treatment does, even if the needle doesn't move as far
