No need for fancy stuff Just wash the car like you always do Wipe it off and start using the compound with a microfiber towel which you've folded over a few times If the scratches are deep, forget it There's no way other than using a machine or rough sandpaper etc to get rid of deeper scratches Use circular movements When you're finished, apply some polish and on top of that wax It doesn't matter which polish or wax Do I recommend the product: the short answer is yes

I’d say to be careful with the lubricant (mist) that you use for the clay bar I did it in my garage with the door open, and I got intoxicated, of course i wasn’t using a mask or glasses or gloves 😅 so I learned my lesson

I wonder if there is silicone in these products In the 1960s silicone was common in polishes we had to add Silicon Off to our acrylic paint Even prep didn't always remove it and you had frog's eyes looking back at you from the paint you just sprayed on

Excellent video and thank you for the warning that the Ultimate Polish literally dries in 15-20 seconds or so in the shade! I did find that applying slightly more UP helped to dissolve any dried UP and wipe away I wish they could extend UP a bit to make it easier to work with by hand

You will never get the same results as using a polishing machine no matter how hard you try I highly recommend getting a dual action polishing machine Its cheap and much easier to use compared to a rotary polish The chances of burning through the paint is also extremely low (that was one of my biggest fears) I bought one a couple of days back and I used it for the first time The results were fantastic!

You used the ceramic wax u had to manually rub on as opposed to the spray on wax? Any particular reason? To me, seems like the bottle u rub on the product would last longer? Love the video! Thanks for your video and tips I need to do all these steps to the hood of my dad’s pickup which is a dark forest green color There’s quite a bit of oxidation on it As far as the car wash soap goes, I was deciding between the Meguiar’s Gold Class Car Wash or the Meguiar’s Ultimate Wash or Wax Which one would you recommend or is there another thats better?Thank you

Love the video , im 23 and looking to get into the cleaning side of cars , Ive just bagged a 1999 10th Anniversary Mazda MX5 , its been stored in a farm shed for 2 years and its caked in harverst season dust , dirt , lime dust and lots of wheat grains in the car , iv have the inside a full steam clean and vacuum , looks amazing , but paint wise i gave it a snow foam and blast but the paint is very hazy , i know its a contaminated paint as i rubbed the a 1cm corner piece of the bonnet with a tiny piece of claybar and it started turning deep blue again , im very new to cleaning cars and would like to know if the ultimate compound and polish would help get my paint looking deep glossy blue again , any tips ?

Good video I have gone from a polishing worrier to a polishing warrior !! I have just ordered the Meguiars Ultimate compound and wax to do my car I have a 2014 white Fiesta The paintwork is in really good condition apart from swirls, and I want to have a go at getting them out This video has given me the confidence to have a go I don't want to spend money on a polisher if I am only going to polish the car every couple of years

I picked up some of the Rain X Graphene spray wax and noticed on the back that is mentions it can be used as a lubricant for clay bar treatment So I tried it and a @hit ton of dark liquid came off, most likely a lot of the spray as it changes colors Is this a bad idea?brbrAlso, will Ultimate Compound help remove the Liquid Wax?

rearly good dave good results yesterday used with hand pad ,with compound , i used ultimate polish afterwards but had to cut area down i polished on and get off quick got rid of some swirl marks some plonka on u tube said it didnt work as he did not put pea size drops on the pad flipping shamefull nearly all the bottle on a bonnet thanks
