Well done Thanks for the subtitles (Im USA and it's hard to understand your speech) Great comparisons! My problem is squirrels They go wild digging up the bed The lady next door planted a lot of trees (drawing squirrels) Don't know whether it's the ground tilling/soil loosening or what that draws them Tarp works! Even once the seeds grow they continue to ransack the new bed

mix your sand and compost together before spreading will help 2 to1 ratio More sand than compost

Enjoyed the vid great experiment however That’s regular building sand used for plastering, Motar mixes ect no good for drainage proper sharp river sand is very course it doesn’t clump together as very gritty and excellent for drainage we regularly Rotavate in to break up heavy clay soils ect always had outstanding results will try do a video for you sometime! 😊

Thank you for this video I started a small lawn from zero but forgot to compact the soil, so when I step on it the surface sunk Now 3 weeks on, the grass is 80 grown Is it better to start again or cover with topsoil, compact it, and reseed it? What is your advice?
