Would you recommend using a sanding sealer or primer when making a heavy relic custom shop ?? Comment from : Jevon Rodriguez |
|
Hey man I appreciate this so much !! It seems like you respond so I thought I’d ask , I’m making a custom shop a lot like John mayers and I see they spray something on the body before they spray black , would I need to spray anything on the guitar before the guitar lacquer??? Comment from : Jevon Rodriguez |

Brad, have a question for you I am painting a body a pearl white tri coat system with 2k clearbrbrThe body is basswood so I didn't grain fill so much, i did a little in bad spots that had tool marks or a lot of pores with drywall mudbrbrI sealed and primed it with 2k epoxy primer I have all the base and pearl on several coats each Sanded it a bunch of times after priming sessions and the 1st base sessionbrbrIm still seeing some small pores / divots in spots do you think the 2k clear would be enough to fill them in or should I sand it back some and redo the pearl first? Comment from : Anthony Allard |

Thanks Brad!brCan you make a similar video on spraying metallics step by step?brWould you increase the distance from the body when spraying metallics as apposed to spraying Primer(as you spray in this Video)? And spray all the coats light? Comment from : Matan Elmalem |

Thanks for all the helpful videos I used them as a guide and got a good consistent coat of metallic Burgundy Mist Now I'm thinking about making it into a maroon burst Should I stick with Oxford's metallic line or will transparent nitro's like Tobacco brown and heritage red work overtop of the metallic burgundy?
