picking individual stocks is overall a losing strategy even with dollar cost averaging SPIVA does a study every year on actively managed funds vs passively managed funds such as ETFs by year 15, 93 of actively managed funds are underperforming the overall market Mind you, these active funds have a team of professionals trying to do a better job It doesn't work Just buy cheap ETFs that follow the indexes and youll retire wealthy

Personally i have been DCA'ing crypto for years I haven't really made much money in 6 years I haven't lost any either, so far Its an ok strategy

It is all about the fair price If the price is fair, you can go with 50 or more in the market It it is not, and you really want to buy, go with 20 brIf the stock is high undervalued, you can go with 70-80brbrTotally agree - if you just random do dumb dca, is bad

The biggest problem is that , people dont have that significant Lumpsum to invest That's why they use credit card, depending on salary incomes For these people , DCA is the only way to invest If I were Bill Gates, I dont need to do DCA Every million dollar were my DCA LOL
