Stupid NOBODY used plastic as a heatsink It's actually an insulator and the chip would run cooler with nothing on it at all What you're showing us is black anodized aluminumbrI built computers when the GPU was on an Advanced Graphics Port and it had no fan at all, just a bunch of aluminum pins sticking up for the heat to dissipate to the airbrIn those days folding the ribbons that were used to connect the hard drives and 35" floppy drives to the motherboard was an art I would fold them to direct air over the various passive heatsinks on the AGP card and the CPU cooler, if it had one

there was never a plastic heatsink EVER plastic is a very bad conductor of heat and has a pretty low melting point even if the card produces very little heat, that heat will be trapped in the plastic and accumulate to the point that it melts very old cards produced so little heat that they had no need for a cooler, just the airflow over the chip was enough, but on any card that had a cooler, the cooler was made of metal
