If you use nitric acid you should also checkout the sreetips silver processing videos that way when you dissolve the silver from the chips and other stuff you don't just throw it out thinking it's useless , really easy to precipitate the silver and probable worth it if your working in the kilograms range of weight and computer parts, I'm still working in the ouces range with computer parts, thanks for the info

I have watched so many videos over months and months and I always keep coming back to your videos because you have the best videos You explain every single little detail and step when alot of people will skip little details and steps You also seem to explain things so that we understand why we are doing certain things I have followed your method of not using nitric acid and I love the refining process you used to refine gold (even though I need to watch that video a couple more times to correctly understand the bleach/hcl/sodium meta/water which equals I believed what you called some kind of yellow chloride that is holding the gold I have recovered good amounts of gold but have yet to take the next step to refine it until I'am 100 comfortable that I wont mess up I have an itch to use nitric acid but man am I glad I followed your steps because using HCL first is definitely what a newbie should use before ever trying Nitric So Im just waiting for you to use it and explain everything So many videos and everyone has slightly different methods and you seem to be very good at breaking down what the best methods are which is why your videos are good so I can't wait until you start using nitric acid because I want to learn from you first before using it myself Not to say your the test dummy haha but joking aside I like to learn it from someone I trust and watch them so I can fully understand and take it in I learn things easier from people who know how to solve problems and makes certain projects easier Thanks mloose I really like what your doing Cheers from Illinois!!!

hi moose, I've been watching your gold recovery videos for a while and I've been following your ram stick process for the gold finger recovery I've been saving the ic chips as I knew they too had gold in them Which leads me to ask if you will be finishing off this series on how you process your ic chips For the record I successfully smelted 25 grams of gold yesterday from following your videos 😊 keep up the good work my man Your an inspiration 👍👍👍

Get one off eBaycan't be more than $10and, seeing what you dowill be a game changer Much like your use of an aerator over hydrogen peroxide in your AP mix Have you tried the high acid vinegar method yet (peracitic acid or something like that)? I tried it but with store grade vinegar and it worked very wellI just need to reduce via boiling down a gallon of 5 acidity vinegar to reach an almost 50 acidity I'm betting it works flawlessly! Hey Moose, have you found out any info on identifying which IC's contain gold and which do not? I'm sure most do not but have run across videos mentioning that all memory cards' (and some others) IC chips have gold Just curious as I believe a lot of my IC harvest is non-gold bearing Thanks for all the great vids!

Hey moose- how big were the SS balls you used in the mill? I was going to try crushing ics/pcbs in a tumble-ball mill with 14mm steel balls but if you say it didnt work i better start looking around for a mechanical shredder

AWESOME!! I am just getting ready to do my first attempt at Gold recovery I DO have a question The silver/tin RAM sticks only pay about 5 dollars per pound at Board Sort right now But, they are pretty darned heavy with IC chips I am thinking that it would pay me to keep the Silver / Tin Sticks for me to remove the ICs and just sent in the Gold Sticks to Board sort to help pay the shipping of the Mother Boards Does that sound like a reasonable idea? Not a LOT of them but small batches is what I want to do in order to get better instead of messing up a first run with a BIG batch

this is great Moose thank you so much I was puzzled by one thing though, maybe you could enlighten me You soaked those in used AP, which I assume was used for goldfingers So your AP will contain mostly copper Now the legs you dissolved are Iron I believe, and as far as I know Iron precipitates copper, its happened to me How did you not end up with a bunch of cemented copper in your bucket!?
