I never got any Lugos quests and when I did it was when I had to go to ermion Ermion had a spat and decide to fight and so I killed lugos and his sons probablym

I think by chance I got this quest during my very first playthrough Mainly because I'm not one to rush through main quests and like to spend time exploring/finish all the side quests And partly because, I don't really use the Axii-Delusion perk that often - otherwise I would've had an easy out at the prison and missed this one

Perhaps the Merchant from the Finder Keepers Quest is the relative of Simun? This Quest is related to a Sword from Svorlag Perhaps its the Sword, that Simun is looking for?brbrPlus I think, the Merchant looks a bit like Simun with Glasses

Spearside cousinbrbrMight be wrong here, but spear just appears to be a synonym for phallus, meaning its just his actual cousin, but with the extra info wrapped in, it's his cousin on his paternal side, so the child of his fathers sibling, and in a patriarchal society, like the people of skellige seem to live in, that possibly implies a whole clan or more going after your ass, if that cousin swears revenge
