Hi I am teaching a child and he is a beginner level in English I made him repeat after me vocabs but sentences he finds super hard to follow and remember I am doing that because his parents asked me to make him memorize phrases and sentences He is totally new into English I think I should teach him how to create simple sentence Any tips how he can memorize daily conversations like dining out to restaurant with his parents? He can't even read in English By the way,the parents told me I shouldn't teach him alphabets and reading their main focus is speaking skills Comment from : @alabadiamira |

Hello! Thank you so much for this! I have a question: You said that you erase the vocabulary and phrases from the board when it's time to do some writing (in Point 1) Do you ask students NOT to write the words in their notebooks when you present them and write them on the board? I find that my students write down everything as I present Or, do you just ask them not to look at their notes when they do a gap-fill or other exercise? Comment from : @juliemoulton9533 |
