Unfortunately it Looks like forceps were incorrectly placed I’d question if the dr was 100 sure of baby’s head placement when they attached the forceps So glad baby is recovering

I thought they had a newer suction cup like apparatus now that supposedly isn't as mid-evil as the "tongs" instead of the forceps?

Rough entry, I know my son was born and his "Tong" marks (as I called them) took 3 months to go away and his straight up in the air ring toss cone head took about the same to round out as I massaged his head many, many ttimes a day to round it out almost all day everyday, I almost lost him the doctor braced his foot on my gurney as he pulled and pulled as my husband watched in horror trying to get our son out! The nurses didn't bother to call my Ob/Gyn when first signs of trouble started many hours before! It should have been a C-Section birth, but it was too late to do one by the time my doctor came in and didn't even know I was in labor for another patient (nurses never called him, they blamed his answering service) and my son was stuck in the birth canal! He had fever seizures they said, I believe it was pressure on his brain from his head being way too big to fit through the birth canal, they did clear up after he was 2 yes old and GOD blessed him with no more after that 1981, no options but to get him out through the birth canal! GOD BLESS this beautiful baby, that this baby will not have any lasting issues from having such a painful and rough entry into this world, in Jesus name Amen
