We were “trying to be respectful”, we were hammering things on the walls but we were “only tapping lightly” and it was only “2 or 3 taps on the wall” Ma’am I know you’re a storyteller and these are for entertainment but please stop acting like your audience is dumb When using a hammer, you have to put some force into it in order for the mail to go into the wall Tapping “lightly” isn’t what you do when hammering and I get that you’re trying to downplay what you did on your end to show that your neighbors reaction was just “so uncalled for and they’re overreacting” I’m sure it was more than a couple of taps on the wall and more like you were decorating your apartment at 9 or 10pm with no regard to your neighbors That all could’ve been done during the day and if you realized it was getting late, you could’ve pushed off that task until the next day Just because you work from home and have a different schedule doesn’t mean your neighbors have to be on that schedule and just accept that that’s when you decide to do home renovations on your apartment Get out of the bubble and the YouTube hug box you’ve created and understand that just because your subscribers back you up doesn’t mean that reality will as wellbrbrEdit: the dramatics are so unnecessary as well “Can I not have wall art? I've never lived in an apartment by myself, but when I used to with my family the only people we literally interacted with were my parents' friends and their children a few floors down from us brbrIf I were to move in alone, I would legit mind my own business and not talk to anyone unless I've known them before or they start a conversation or interaction themselves I get it that in school its crucial you associate with people, but with your neighbors near your home? It'd just feel weird just knocking on their door or interrupting them while they enter or exit Imagine some guy trying to go home peacefully and you're like "hEy duDE wAsSuP?!" and they're a complete stranger!
