Honestly I had one I put some tweeters in it it sounded good but the cassette is junk too bad because the actual sound quality wasn't bad it's just sad that everything from China as far as stereos seems to be junk junk junk

Pity the VU meters do not workbrAnyway, if you don't need the bluetooth/usb part I think it's better to just take that $13999 that thing costs now and just buy a used real boombox from the 80's brYou'll most probably get a much higher quality device with a lot better sound than that "plasticky" thing from this review But that is just my opinion of course 👍

I received one of these for a Christmas present I'm pretty happy with it, especially since it was a gift! I have one complaint only, and that is recording to cassette is terrible The ALC (Auto Level Control) not only dampens the sound being recorded, it does so in a very uneven manner, so that the recording will sound as if it "surges" throughout Still, for playback, it's not too shabby and as I said, since it was a gift, that makes me happiest

I bought this boombox a few weeks ago I love it Only real gripe i have with it is the recording to cassette its not the greatest Its got a huge drop in auto level once a song starts But ignoring the ALC its not half bad, ive heard alot worse At least its got a stereo head and isn't monophonic like the QFX boombox The VU meters are on their dedicated channels, however the LED meter isn't Its only set for the right channel As for recording to a USB or SD its almost perfect Its got a little watery effect but not really that noticeable Least it records in stereo and not at a crappy 64kbps This will range between 128kbps, 160, & 320 depending on the source you're using Recording from cassette playback ive noticed to be the worse quality But from BT/AUX is really good However still not 100 perfect The rechargeable batt inside is most likely the reasoning for the weight I paid the 13999 for it as i couldn't resist lol I am happy with my purchase though
