Yeah I would recommend using a PlayStation 4 and newer PlayStation controllers or the Xbox one and Newer Xbox controllers To play games on the Amazon fire TV sticks

Have you noticed that regardless of the remote (fire or blue tooth game remote), that you can not press "forward forward(hold)" to perform any runs/dash? Which is an absolute necessity in Golden Axe, Shinobi and Streets of Rage Let me know if it's just me Thanks

To answer your final question I think that putting these games on these products it opens up a whole new world of entertainment because it bypasses the problems we get with which console we purchased it on! One day it won't matter what console or pc we're using for games we can use all of the games from the past on anything hopefully in the future!

The retro market is becoming MORE AND MORE accessible What I am curious about Is if this will inadvertently effect the cost of hard copy retro collecting like so much of us are into, negatively, or positivelyHmmbrbr I think, if anything, like ANY collection The more people aware and interested in something, the more valuable that thing becomes This may in the long run be good for retro collecting depending on how you look at it

I’ve got a Rasberri pie 3 setup on my Kindle Fire Hd8 and I have all the old retro games from Arcade to Ps1 and they look and play amazing on RetroArch emulator My fav is Dreamcast It plays seamless on it I do agree with your comment about the controller please do your self a favor and buy a wireless Bluetooth controller at Walmart for $12 it’s definitely worth it!! Great video

These appear to be the same games available in the Android and iOS "Sega Forever" collection (minus Crazy Taxi) Happy to see they've kept adding games, that they're branching out to more platforms, and that the games are running well It's also been my experience that a bluetooth controller is required for an enjoyable experience on mobile - not surprised to see that they sent you one

I disagree some with the idea that this trend will remove the console That's not true as the console in this case is the amazon stick You still need to get gaming controllers, its still a platform some will have while others wont These games will still be on a console, its just that gaming is secondary to video content on them Just like a console can now have video streaming apps, a video streaming box can have console games Nothing new or different, its still just another platform

I think that this is a good idea mainly because most people have these smart devices and sometimes people don't have a newer game console There are some great games that are on the Amazon version, and it is not very expensive The biggest problem is definitely the controller there is nothing that justifies this

I noticed this in the home menu of my brother's fire TV when I was visiting over Christmas Got quite confused to be honest and didn't really look into it till now This is good for casual (and I mean very casual) gamers, or the type who have only really known gaming to be on a phone It expands their horizons whilst not charging them a lot for a console they won't use The console option though remains the best one, which I am all in favour of Will be interesting to see how this influences things in the future

this could've been what saved telltale, subscription services could be a really good way at selling smaller, more narrative focused series, of course this games are much more gameplay focused but some like the wolf among us on netflix could find pretty big success

Interesting thought, but I think it's going to be short lived as most people would prefer the console over the emulation And most would rather have access to their games without the use of the internet If they had the game itself for their console, they would not need to worry about getting internet, or they would be able to play their games without the internet connected to their TV just to play these games

I’ve been saying that all the publishers should have been doing this since the 90’s I remember going to hotels and being able to rent MARIO kart and play on the tv I always thought, why that wasn’t available on a wide scale?
