MEETING NOTES - very well done I thought, and I liked how you had it to be done "live" I hand write and "tick off" on he Agenda (notepad back up) and quickly can refresh that to be the Minutes The problem I had with "live digital" - is that your role is to capture what the important points and to do that you need "focus" and put a laptop in front of people and they will start researching "on the spot" and will be looking at the mail, and "other tabs" and "other things" they need to get too or what is of interest to them Motions, I will sometime say so-and-so we can refine this when I translate this to the Minutes but ideally, I say motions should kind of be cued or back-pocketed in the agenda (or certainly by the person running the meeting) so that he/she can efficiently and effectively handle it without people ended up doing the person's homework for them "live when it is due to be turned in" My theme is the more proactively handled the agenda is; the quicker and less drama the meeting and Minutes will be Comment from : @GlennLaycock |

ONE NOTE - for the life of me I never can "get it" as I always go back to Word - but it looks very efficient Wonder why it is like people who use Excel extensively, even for writing letters I wonder how they ended up with that as their front end program go to That said, Outlook is driving people crazy right now with Word especially as MicroSofts "accounting - bean counter" folks seem to have taken over the MANAGING duties (one could say Netflix has the same issue), so it is getting bulky (bloated with neglect of it core programming), and even if you pay for the full version you are getting a lot of layering that is actually not that transparent if you are paying attention (and I do not 95 of the time, but my brain is noticing and it triggers me with "come on people, I should not be doing this step, or seeing this message or setting change etc the OneDrive loading that file for THEM to profile/filter photos is it, that keeps coming back for instance hide again? come on this is annoying now and I do not trust you now) Comment from : @GlennLaycock |
