Dear HCT: what does the research say about asymptomatic transmission, as well as the current false negative rates of covid tests? I feel like I've heard mixed messages regarding asymptomatic spread I worry this undermines faith in the vaccine due to mainstream media drawing attention to the possibility that the vaccine only stops illness rather than infection Meanwhile, in BC, you're told to stay at home if you feel sick regardless if you test negative for covid, but some people don't see why this is necessary I've heard the false negative rate is quite high in the event someone has the virus, which I think is a big reason behind this advice Comment from : Jordan Williams |
