This is one of the worst videos about crypto I've ever watched Michael saylor represents pretty much everything that's wrong with bitcoin He's a cancer on crypto and technological innovation in general He obviously has ZERO idea about what makes something a security as none of the points he raises are actual involved in determining of a security transaction had occurred and is almost NEVER the actual crypto token that's a security The security comes in to how the asset is sold His lies are so constant that the btc sheep must get sucked in and believe everything he says brDo you know that btc had been involved in securities transactions and violations? I have a conceptual block when it comes to accepting this idea of Bitcoin as digital energy brbrPart of me wants to jump into that idea because of the energy component of mining it The other part of me sees it as a mental trick to make me assume that the idea holds on the other end of that exchangebrbrThe fact that something is energy intensive still doesn’t automatically give it value if that energy isn’t redeemable brbrIt seems to me that Saylor really spins the aspect that the only thing that gives something value as a medium of exchange is the collective faith of humanity This feels like a spin to make me trust something that doesn’t ultimately hold up brbrI want BTC to succeed as a global money replacement and I lean stronger towards believing that it in fact will every day I simply wish I could undermine this aspect of it from different perspectives
